The Wave Resort

Loved our stay with family at The Wave Resort! Just returned from a week in a 2 bedroom apartment. Location was incredible, so close to beach/amenities and right in the heart of Broadbeach. Apartment was super spacious, amazing views, wish we could live in it! Would recommend and will definitely be back.

Our Mumma + Daughter stay at The Wave was wonderful. The location is right in the heart of Broadbeach, everything is close including the beach, the view and the ocean breeze is the best therapy. The staff and Manager went above and beyond to make  us happy. We made a request before arriving and it was done, no issue only thanks for the pre-check in requirement. We can’t wait to go back.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve experienced on Broadbeach. My partner and I came here on a couples trip with friends and requested 2 double beds and got 4 singles as no notes were put in the system. There was no apology, we were just told that no notes were entered into the system and they could fix it up “complimentary” the next morning, even though this was their mistake. Then on checkout, we were told by the receptionist that it wouldn’t be possible to hold onto a key and leave our bags at reception until we needed to leave for our flight. Even though there is a box for key returns at reception during unstaffed hours? We did not feel welcomed here with the staff being so rude and unaccommodating. Even just a warm greeting or a “thank you for your stay” would’ve made this stay a little more comfortable.

Great place to stay, only reason gave 4 stars was not an ideal way to end holiday with having to ensure you leave the room clean and tidy. I also had to fix the vacuum cleaner as wasn't cleaned or emptied by previous tenants and or house keeper thus the filter was blocked. Spa, Sauna and pool areas were great shame about the smell in steam room though. Also disappointed room doesn't get serviced daily to top up tea and coffee especially as there for 7 nights room only got serviced after our fourth night and housekeeper didn't notice we were low on sugar and coffee. Also both QR codes in room no longer work

First would like to start off with saying when entering my room, a cock roach was on my bed.  Second of all no room service for the whole week, the bed sheets and towels are paper thin along with having to pay for extra towels - no extra blankets or pillows either, the whole building just had a funny smell to it especially when using the sink or shower and last of all I found ANOTHER cock roach in my bathroom on the last day.
Only had 2 rolls of toilet paper which were really thin in both bathrooms of a family of 6.
Paid around the same price from when I stayed at Peppers Soul in surfers paradise and their we had room service everyday with fresh towels, bedding was more acceptable and certainly no cockroaches.
