Hawaiian Airlines

Terrible customer service!!!!!!! Tried to contact through Facebook Messenger and via email. They cancelled the flight in regards to the weather condition so I stuck for 20 hours at the airport in NY without accommodation, food and any help provided. We were sent from one information desk to another, which they were closed for most of the time so people were queuing there for nothing. I missed 2 other connect flights. I needed to purchase another ticket on top of that so I was able to come back home to Sydney. It was in September 2024. We are in February 2025 now I still haven't gotten my money back. Emails are coming roughly once a month with copy and paste information (apparently they haven't received most of my emails, which is really concerned). I tried then contacted Facebook Messenger (which I really recommend) because they seemed to be more responsive at least, but they are only submitting another follow-ups request on my behalf and updated my case with my additional comments asking for patience.
I feel cheated, left out and ignored. Stephanie Smith who is "taking care" of my case from the very beginning (September) after 6 months informed that transfer was issued 1st of November, but until today (February) I didn't get my money.  After every email she "kindly" emphesises that
: "based on the facts of your case, we consider our decision to be fair and appropriate. Respectfully, this will be our final correspondence and we consider this matter closed. Take good care." So I am left alone with no money and proper response. I am now trying to get the confirmation of the transfer, but I believe it will take another months.
Miss Stephanie also mentioned that Hawaiian Airlines cannot be held responsible for my missing connecting flight. I am asking who then is the responsible one? STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS AIRLINES!!!!!!

Hawaii is the most stunning place. I lived on the Gold Coast at Paradise Pt for 40 years and Waikiki is better than Surfers Paradise by far. The people are very warm and polite. Definitely put this one on your bucket list. Hawaiian Airlines staff and the plane trip were second to none. First Class ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hawaiian Airlines are our favourite airline to use when flying to Hawaii and the US mainland. The 32kg two bag luggage allowance is fantastic, especially when returning home to Sydney after lots of shopping in the US! We like the 2-4-2 plane configuration and select the extra comfort (premium economy) seats. Staff are always friendly and laid back. We’ve never had an issue with Hawaiian Airlines and will continue to fly with them in the future.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.... we flew with them only to have our connecting flight in Sydney to Brisbane canceled without them telling us.  We arrived at domestic in Sydney at 9pm to an empty airport to be told that no planes were flying.  Virgin who they codeshare with said they told hawaiin Airlines prior to our departure to Hawaii 2 weeks before...  that late at night and on Vivid weekend  we ended up paying over $300 to stay in a 2 star hotel plus taxi etc
We approached hawaiin for a refund and they stated they called myself and my partner,  I provided proof of our phone logs that we were not called and now have received an email to say they have closed the file and contact virgin for the refund.  Virgin provided me with  confirmation of their contact to hawaiin.  EXPECT to be stranded and EXPECT that hawaiin airlines won't care.

Several years on, I am still chasing a refund for my flight that was cancelled due to covid lock downs.  Customer service is useless to deal with as you only receive a copy and pasted response. Once i am able to travel again,  i will be using anyone other than Hawaiin air, so their 50% voucher is useless to me.
