Sydney Tower Eye

Easy to get tickets when we turned up!
Amazing views.
We went at lunch, was pretty quiet but got busy very quickly.
We stayed at the top for about 30 minutes.

My first time at this observation deck, really amazing view of Sydney. However from the inside you can hardly see the Opera House but overall a fantastic view of the city of Sydney.
You need to enter this place from Westfield but it is a bit of a journey to fetch to. Perhaps the closest entrance to go from is from Castlereagh Street.
Once at the deck, you can take photos, selfies, panoramas and videos for as long as you want.
I went on a partly cloudy, sunny, showery day but the view is still nice.
Many people would say that sunset views are the best, however it depends on the closing time, so please check the closing time on the day you plan to go.
The prices are reasonable and not too expensive. There are concessions and kids prices available.
If you are visiting Sydney, I would highly recommend a visit to this place if you are looking for an aerial view of the city.

Sydney Tower Eye and Virtual Reality Tower Coaster Experience

Price Entry: AUD 80.00 (4 Attraction Pass from Sydney Tower Eye website)

Note: I recommend to buy combo attraction pass online for lower price and faster experience. There is a discount package of AUD 20.00 for the Virtual Reality (Tower Coaster and Shark Dive) when I physically went to Sydney Tower Eye. However, this offer does not seem to be available online when I was purchasing the 4 attraction pass. Since the online VR price is the same as on site, it would be better to purchase the Virtual Reality tickets physically, rather than to purchase online.

Sight Seeing: Spectacular, wonderful unobstructed views of Sydney Central Business District, iconic landmarks, coast lines, ships, breathtaking sunset, etc. Highly recommended to get a picturesque view of the sunset, day and night views, so arrive about 0.5 to 1 hour earlier.

Activity: The Virtual Reality Tower Coaster Experience was short, but quite fun. The virtual reality views are quite realistic, you can look left to right, up to down and enjoy the views of Sydney from above. The experience would have been even better if it was more similar to conventional coaster rides, such as: (1) "rocky" feel when moving along the tracks, (2) "jerky" experience when the coaster makes abrupt turns, (3) "wind" factor as the coaster is accelerating downwards against gravity, etc.

Indoor Air Conditioning: The air conditioning was great. It was cool and comfortable even though there were many people inside.

Location: It is located within Sydney Central Business District, and is close to multiple hotels, attractions and shopping.

We visited midweek and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, no crowds or long lines, which made for a very relaxed experience. The clear weather provided us with fantastic views, making the visit even more memorable. While we enjoyed our time and were happy to check this off our list, we felt that more detailed information about the building and its surroundings would have added to the experience. Nonetheless, I would still highly recommend a visit.

Stunning views of Sydney from the top! The Skywalk is thrilling, and the 4D cinema adds a fun touch. Interactive displays are informative. Best to visit at sunset for spectacular cityscapes. Booking tickets online helps avoid queues. A must-see for tourists and locals alike. Highly recommend!
