De Vine Food & Wine

A chic restaurant in the heart of Sydney. The service was a bit distant but friendly, the interior was casual and elegant, with wine bottles, nice table settings, and dimmed lighting. The food was a little overpriced but of good quality. The swordfish was very soft, and the eggplant fritti combined with the ricotta and honey was delicious! The tiramisu, though being soft and fluffy, lacked a bit of diversity - the taste of coffee, alcohol, and cocoa powder didn’t quite come through. All in all a nice restaurant with a warm ambiance.

Terrific. Tucked away in the heart of Sydney and slightly off the Main Street, this is a first class restaurant. Friendly Staff and great Service are matched by an excellent menu. We have been here many times and are never disappointed. Well done.

The food enhances the atmosphere:
The recently revamped DeVine with its timber,stone and gold tones and warm hue sets the mood for a relaxed and mellow evening. Let the waiters guide you through the menu, but Nonnas meatballs is a must for any true Italian foodie and the pasta dishes are comforting and will take you to places in Italy past visited. As for the wine, don’t stress just ask Julian and Anthony to pick one for you in your price range and they never disappoint.
Perfect to sit at the bar or high tables with friends and enjoy entrees and a bottle of wine or for a full truly Italian journey in the main dining area.

Enjoyed such delicious food here! Both small plates and pastas were amazing - the truffle gnocchi on special was my fave! Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

In town for a day for the national carwash show, googles somewhere nice in town to eat and this place popped up.
I was a walk in, no booking, full restaurant, but the staff weaved some magic and space was made at the end of the bar.
Exception wine list, I settled on a red from Croatia. Was offered chilled or temp.
Had the veal pasta for dinner.
All round well worth the visit if your in the area.
