Revo Fitness - Pitt St Sydney

Popped up with a classpass for a quick visit - loved it! Nice and clean, bunch of new equipment, location couldn't be more central.
Everything you need for a quality workout.

Place can get quite busy after 4:30 pm so plan your visit accordingly. And bring your towel- otherwise you need to pay 3$.

The gym has all the equipment you need. It’s also very modern and located right in the city.   Amy is doing an amazing job as front of house always chatty and having a solution no matter what is the issue. Revo has also the lowest price so why pay more when you can have it all at Revo. Would definitely come back here!

This gym has changed the way I look at fitness. Revo offers an environment that nourishes and reenforces healthy living and drive for fitness. Their reformer Pilates has been a god sent, the staff Amy and Vini are such cheerful faces that make you feel so welcome and important. The trainers who help and introduce you with endless smiles. The affordability is undeniable only downside is locations so please pop up else where I’ll be waiting out west.

Gym is decent, has what you need and is cheap. Customer service is not there and one guy in particular Vinny is very rude and followed me and my friend around the gym because I forgot a towel although my friend had one and we were happy to share. I do usually bring a towel but not always when coming straight from work after a long day However I always wipe equipment down thoroughly after using. Unrealistic standards to ask for from a gym that cleans the air by spraying cleaner next to the fans so it “disperses” the product. Most of the equipment is covered in sweat anyway before using.

Be careful joining this gym, because once you’re in, leaving is harder than leg day.

After not going to the gym for 3 weeks, I decided to cancel my Revo membership only to find out you can’t cancel over the phone or online. You have to go in person (because apparently, digital convenience isn’t part of their fitness plan). Like many of us balancing work, life, and not going to the gym, I never found the time to drop in just to cancel. So I emailed them the day before my membership was due to renew and clearly stated I wanted to cancel and not be charged. Simple, right? Guess what, they charged anyway.

When I followed up, Courtney, the manager, responded with a mysterious 30-day notice policy. Funny thing is, neither I nor the three friends I joined with ever heard a peep about this clause. It’s not on their website, not in the app, and definitely wasn’t mentioned at sign-up. It’s like the fine print only appears when you try to leave.

I raised all of this and even mentioned escalating to NSW Fair Trading, but Courtney remained impressively unfazed. Customer service? Not exactly their strong suit. Honestly, it felt more like getting scammed, but with treadmills in the background.

So yeah, join Revo if you enjoy feeling ignored, overcharged, and trapped. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
