Easy to get the insurance online. Good price too. We had to fly back from Thailand unexpectantly due to a family medical emergency and had to cancel old flight and  book tickets at the last moment that were costly.  Claimed the fare from Insure and Go and they were quick to respond (thanks to Florence - Claim manager)  kept me up to date with how my claim was progressing and paid the fare. Overall a very good experience.

The worth of insurance is only true when you have to call on it. So far, my travels have been without incident so there is no way to properly gauge the Insure&Go experience. The path to obtaining the insurance cover has been first-rate, though.

Worst experience insurance-wise ever! We were both sick and everything went wrong - visas, lost luggage, damaged luggage, cancelled flight… They were less than helpful and understanding… it took months to finalise and the end result was that we were 1000s of dollars out-of-pocket after fighting with them for the pittance we were reimbursed! We’ve always taken out travel insurance but have never needed it before! I only chose them because they were so highly recommended on a comparison site. Next time we’ll go with an insurer we’re already with!

First time user for travel insurance, cost was much cheaper than other providers, claim process exceeded my expectations.
Highly recommend,  Def will use again.

Please do your research and please don’t purchase from these guys just because of the price point. I travel quite frequently and luckily have never needed to claim anything back on travel insurance so thought to go with a cheaper provider this time to save some money, big mistake. I had the most horrifically traumatic transit my last trip due to a massive storm and ended up out of pocket $4.5k, the Insure and Go policies are so lacking that I was only able to claim $1.5k back, not even half of what I lost, I had also paid for a more expensive policy here. Be aware that these guys do not have you covered for bad weather that disrupts travel/cancels flights etc unless the weather event is deemed a natural disaster, a clever tactic to get out of covering you for common bad weather situations. I’m now in a fight with 2 major international airlines to try to recoup my losses and let’s be real, they’re not paying me back. Pay a little extra for a better insurer and policy that has you covered for this type of stuff so that you don’t end up in my situation and read the terms and conditions before purchasing because I guarantee you they’ll have clauses that will work against your claim. Reading through a few policies now and Covermore and ahm would’ve offered much better cover in my situation so please do your research before going with this company just because they are affordable, you’ll be paying for it later. Like another review said, read the 1 star reviews on this company before you make your decision.
