Vibe Hotel Sydney

My friend had made a booking in a hurry because she had lost her passport on a trip, so she couldn't check in because she didn't have any ID and I was on my way from Melbourne to Sydney. They believed my ID from the text message and helped my friend check in. When I arrived, had my ID checked and went up to the room, I was surprised to see how good the room was. The location is also very close to the city centre but there is no noise. Their service and kindness are excellent, but the value and reasonable price of the hotel is also excellent.

Really well located. Convenient Wilson carpal next door with $15 per day weekend parking. Hotel itself was good but rooms on the older side. Bathrooms in particular used shower+baths which I don’t live. Water pressure not great. But comfy bed and spacious rooms.

Staff are lovely, rooms are big. BUT you can literally hear a sneeze from the room next door. Currently listening to the couple next door having a reasonable conversation and could tell you word for word what they are saying. You can hear every step from the hallway.

Rooms have a funky smell. Almost like they've been smoking rooms.

If you value a good nights sleep, probably avoid.

The couch had a literal handful of crumbs left on it, pretty gross.

Good price and nice people but unfortunately the shower isn’t work properly. It was so hard to control the temperature and my parents were struggling with. And the water pressure was very poor. The water on the sink didn’t stop completely. I only spent for a night so I didn’t complain about.

Stayed in the city with a group of girlfriends after seeing Chicago at the Capitol Theatre and the Vibe Hotel was in the perfect location; walking distance from both the theatre and Central Station, as well as a number of great restaurants.
We had four single beds in the room and it was spacious enough for all of us; there was a huge mirrored wardrobe with ample storage, a decent bathroom and a bar fridge & coffee facilities. The beds were very comfortable. Reception is beautiful and there is a really nice Bar / Restaurant off reception called The Storehouse which serves good food at very decent prices for the middle of Sydney.
I would definitely recommend this as a great location for anyone looking for accommodation near Central or the Capitol Theatre.
