Ace Rental Cars Sydney Airport

When I read about Ace Rental Cars Reviews put up earlier, there were some very bad reviews, however please note my experience with their customer officers were very good. The car I rented that was issued to me was very good, very clean and a hybrid. Save me much fuel. The shuttle services were very punctual and came when I call them.  My collection of car at Brisbane and returning of car at Sydney were without any issues and the Ace people were very professional going about the checking and rental paperwork. Very good experience and will use them again.

DO NOT BOOK FROM ACE RENTAL CARS!

Due to their negligence, we were not informed that their office was closed at 1pm instead of 3pm. The staff had told us to return the car at 3pm. We had to go to another car rental company and asked for help to send us to the airport which they graciously agreed.

It’s almost impossible to arrange a pick up at the airport upon your arrival especially if you’re a foreign tourist without a local line. The airport shuttle pick up function on the website does not work. When you finally get through to the hotline, you will encourage an extremely condescending lady who’s acting like you’re spoiling her day by asking her to pick you up from the airport.
The only saving grace was the friendly lady at the office.

Best of all, they ignored our email when we email to tell them about their screw up.

Have never encountered such poor service from a car rental company. Spend your money elsewhere.

I rented a car for the weekend, but at no point was I informed about needing to pay for tolls, nor was it stated anywhere in the rental agreement. When the company attempted to charge me, I explained this oversight, but they never responded to my concerns. Now, I've discovered they registered me as the toll payer without notifying me, and I'm being charged by the toll agency directly, completely unaware. Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and communication from this company.

One of the worst companies Ace. Rented a car at Sydney Airport from Ace. I paid $500 for the car along with insurance for three days. I paid a deposit of $100 and it was not returned to me. When I handed over the car, the company representatives behaved very aggressively because I did not clean up where my feet were. They just robbed me. Be careful, friends, read the reviews. Many people have encountered this company and were very unhappy. If you don’t believe me, then read other reviews. This company does everything so as not to return the deposit. I have rented a car in many places and not a single company has behaved like this. This review is for you with photos.

GIVE ME BOND BACK!!!
Worst customer service ever!!!

I booked a car on CarRental.com. Paid for one day and they charged me $367 when plus $200 bond when I picked up the car as shows on the screenshot.  For now, everything was ok.

After I returned the car, the staff in the different location told me the bond will be returned to my account in couple days. Then nothing happened, I DID NOT get my bond back without ANY reasonable explanation.

I tried to call the staff to discuss this issue, the female in Sydney airport department was VERY RUDE!  Rising voice, being racist, asking shitty question like DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IS PRE-AUTHORIZATION?   GO CALL YOUR BANK! When I tried to ask her name and talk to a supervisor, she hangs up the phone.

This is my first time going with ACE Car Rental. The guys I met when I pick up the car from Sydney airport department were very friendly and gentle. But this call surprised me!!! DO SOMETHING!

BTW, the phone call happened on 4:37pm 11/09/2024.
